ROSA PARKS ESTATE
The firm represents the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development, a charitable organization created by civil rights icon Rosa Parks. The firm represented the Institute in an appeal before the Michigan Supreme Court and obtained a reversal of probate court orders that improperly stripped the Institute of Mrs. Parks' valuable civil rights artifacts collection and the right to license Mrs. Parks' name, likeness and image for educational, media and other uses. The firm now serves as general counsel to the Institute and its co-founder, Elaine Steele.

WOODMERE CEMETERY
The firm represents the American Moslem Society Mosque in Dearborn, Michigan, which has filed a lawsuit against Woodmere Cemetery of Detroit alleging breach of contract, conversion and violation of the Michigan Prepaid Funeral and Cemetery Sales Act.
