THE FIRM REPRESENTED THE INSTITUTE IN AN APPEAL BEFORE THE MICHIGAN SUPREME COURT AND OBTAINED A REVERSAL OF PROBATE ORDERS THAT IMPROPERLY STRIPPED THE INSTITUTE OF MRS. PARKS' VALUABLE CIVIL RIGHTS ARTIFACT COLLECTION AND THE RIGHT TO LICENSE MRS PARKS' NAME, LIKENESS AND IMAGE FOR EDUCATIONAL, MEDIA AND OTHER USES. THE FIRM NOW SERVES AS GENERAL COUNSEL TO THE INSTITUTE AND ITS CO-FOUNDER ELAINE STEELE.
